Your Guide to a Great College Experience

by 18.com
What is better than four years of living on your own, having no real responsibilities, and being stuck on a campus with more hot girls than you’ve seen in your dreams?  We got it, we’ve been there. We’ll walk you through each year of college and give you the exclusive details of what we wish we knew as a freshman.

First real obstacle of a freshman: buying the next 30 back of beer and sneaking it into your dorm room?! Freshman year is a breeze. You take General Education classes, maybe an Intro to your Major class. You spend the majority of your time exploring campus, finding classes and study groups, and figuring out what the most edible spots to eat on campus.  You meet more people in 2 weeks than you’ve been in your entire pre college school career.  Here is my biggest piece of advice: Be too cool for NO ONE. Be friends with EVERYONE. This is will your biggest advantage. By the time your fourth year rolls around, you’ll be waving hello to 90% of the campus, and not gonna lie, it feels pretty good.

You second year of college is debatably the best. You have the frat and sorority low down.  You are still “Young and Fun” in the eyes of the older college students but you actually have your bearings around town now.  You get invited to way cooler things, you actually have some good friends, and your still in your prime.

Your third year, well life just keeps getting better. Now you’re running the show. Your top man/woman on campus, because all the 4th years are either wifed up or going to the bars.  SO you are the big men on campus. You run the frat parties you know all the chicks, and vise versa. “Clicks have started to form and you are in the best position to run this sh*t.

Your fourth year, you are a little too cool for school. You are over classes/slash your so close to being done you’re a part time student. You have your friends, your over greek life, and you think you have bigger and better things to move on to. News flash: Real life sucks. Stay in college forever.
